MUSC 229 - Concert Producing 3 s.h. An in-depth study of the theoretical and practical aspects of presenting contemporary arts and entertainment performances. Topics include talent acquisition, contracts and riders, production, venues, budgeting, ticket services, promotion/ marketing/publicity, routing and contemporary concert industry. Included will be a view of a concert event from all angles: musician, local media, promoter, venue, talent agent, artist manager, record company and attendees to name a few. Prerequisite(s): MUSC 108 .
