FAMS 180 - Orientation to Family Research 1 s.h.

This one semester hour course is an orientation to scholarly writing for students in the field of Child and Family Studies. Students will learn to identify, collect, comprehend, analyze, synthesize and integrate scholarly research and complete a literature review in an area of Child and Family Studies. Emphasis will be placed on the use of APA in citing and reviewing scholarly research. Offered Fall and Spring.
Prerequisite(s): CFS major.
