BIOL 208 - Anatomy and Physiology of Human Health 4 s.h. An exploration of the organization, structure and function of the human body with emphasis on the nutritional and metabolic basis of human health and disease. Lectures will focus on the basic physiology of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, respiratory, immune, urinary and reproductive systems. Laboratories will deal with the basic anatomy of these systems and involve use of models, dissections and simulations. This course is not intended for credit towards the Biology major. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 100 or BIOL 180 .
