ARTS 230 - Sculpture I 3 s.h.


This intermediate course introduces the essential principles and techniques of sculpture. Emphasis is placed on concept development and individual creative expression through form and space. Students create original sculptures in a variety of materials, and processes, including stone carving, metal and wood construction, bronze casting, and mixed media. Digital processes such as 3D Printing, CNC plasma and Laser cutting are also introduced.  Offered Fall and Spring.
Prerequisite(s): 100-level ARTS course or permission of instructor.
