EPSY 340 - Infants and Toddlers: Early Childhood Learning Environments  3 s.h.


This course addresses the application of theories and principles of early childhood development, including physical, cognitive, social, and emotional aspects, to educational contexts. Particular attention is given to the roles of family, early childhood learning environments, and play in children’s learning and development. Theories and principles of early childhood development will be applied to the development of empowering learning environments and developmentally appropriate curricula.
