EDBL 617 - Curriculum, Assessment, And Instruction 3 s.h.

This course will enable current and future administrators to provide leadership and planning for curriculum, instruction, enrichment, technology integration, and intervention strategies in our schools through analysis of current and theoretical dialogues. Students will have the opportunity to explore the curriculum writing process and critically examine current issues, trends and best practices in curricula and curriculum theory and how it impacts instruction and learning. Students will examine the complexities of integrating state and local priorities in a curriculum, develop a curriculum map, and critique instruction and curriculum effectiveness utilizing videos and online interactions. Offered once a year.
